Today is Joe’s birthday!!! He is still sick. We were going to go to Checkpoint Charlie and the remaining part of the Berlin Wall, but Joe is still pretty weak. We extended our stay, so if he is feeling better tomorrow, we’ll do it then. He did make some calls home and we got some laundry done today though. He was wanting to walk around so he came with me. We brought some balloons while we were waiting for the laundry. We got more than a few questioning glances from the other people waiting for their clothes in the laundromat.
